The RV-Dreams Store

On this page, we promote and sell products we produce or that we believe in strongly. It's just one of the ways we cover the expenses of our informational RV websites and our life on the road. Thank you for your support!

RV Educational Videos - OUR NEWEST ADDITION!

We are pleased to announce that we have recently teamed up with Mark & Dawn Polk over at RV Education 101 to provide RV Education video DVDs to our readers.

While Linda & I concentrate on the RVing Lifestyle, Mark & Dawn do a great job of explaining the day-to-day operations of RVs. And it's much better on video than in printed form. :)

Click over to our RV Education Videos page to take a look at the video DVDs (including Boxed Sets) that we have selected to offer our readers directly.

We wish we would have purchased these videos when we were getting started. :)

Downloadable Excel Spreadsheets For RVer Budgeting & Expense/Income Tracking

Though I am an accountant by education and trade and have used many financial programs over the years, I have found them to be somewhat inflexible or filled with more features than I need.

Therefore, since we started on the road, I've been keeping track of every penny of our expenses on Excel Spreadsheets. Recently, I developed a series of spreadsheets that can be used to assist others in budgeting and expense/income tracking.

If you might be interested, click over to our Excel Spreadsheet Downloads page and read through the information (including screenshots).

These options may not be right for you, but we certainly encourage you to use some method of budgeting and expense tracking.

Sea Eagle Inflatable Boats

As most of our readers know, we carry Sea Eagle Inflatable Boats in our travels and we LOVE them!

This is our "entry level" Sea Eagle 370 Sport Kayak on the bank of the Colorado River in Moab, Utah.

And this is our Sea Eagle Foldcat Pontoon Fishing Boat on Strom Thurmond Lake on the Georgia/South Carolina border.

Living in an RV and traveling across the country, we felt that these durable, inflatable boats were the best for us for storage and ease of use. And while the Foldcat is a bit of a space hog with all the accessories, like a battery and trolling motor, we still love the ability to get out and do some fishing OR load it up with a tent and gear for overnight river trips (we've done spectacular trips on the Buffalo National River in Arkansas and on the Green River through Canyonlands National Park in Utah).

Along the way, we've become friends with Tim & Crystal Ryerson of They are Sea Eagle's largest dealer and they won't be undersold on Sea Eagles. Not only that, but Tim is very knowledgeable and can help folks process what boat (or boats) might be right for them.

So, for our readers that are interested in finding out more about inflatable boats for the RV lifestyle, give Tim a call at 877-253-3947 and tell him "Howard & Linda at RV-Dreams sent me".

2011 RV-Dreams Photo Calendar - SOLD OUT!

At the end of each year, we take some of our best photos from our travels that year and create a photo calendar for the following year. We try to have a combination of wildlife, landscapes, sunrises, and sunsets. It's a difficult process narrowing down over 5,000 photos into thirteen for a calendar. We hope you enjoy our selections and think about the wonderful scenes we RVers get to experience in our nomadic lifestyle.

Black Hollow Road CD - SOLD OUT!

Way back in 1994, Linda and her brother Jon formed a duo called Nicholas & Payne. Though vocally talented siblings, they had never performed together professionally.

That year, Jon, a veteran in the barbershop quartet world, started writing songs rooted in country music but influenced by his experience in other areas. The catalog of songs took on a unique sound. He called on his sister to form a duo.

Along with putting together a band, they created a ten-song album that was produced at Melody Hill Studio outside Louisville, Kentucky.

Due to cost constraints, the album, Black Hollow Road, was released on a local level in cassette form only. It had moderate success, but with virtually no promotion, it did not gain widespread appeal.

The album did gain some lofty attention for a short period. Jon won a Nashville song-writing contest where his prize was to record one of his songs in a Nashville studio. Linda accompanied him to Nashville where they recorded the original tune. While there, they were also asked to do some back-up vocals in the studio.

Jon kept the original digital tracks of Black Hollow Road, and we have decided to re-introduce it in CD form. We hope you enjoy this mix of original ballads and novelty songs.
