Click on this link for more information and to order: RV-Dreams Logo Hats Black Hollow Road CDWay back in 1994, Linda and her brother Jon formed a duo called Nicholas & Payne. Though vocally talented siblings, they had never performed together professionally.That year, Jon, a veteran in the barbershop quartet world, started writing songs rooted in country music but influenced by his experience in other areas. The catalog of songs took on a unique sound. He called on his sister to form a duo. Along with putting together a band, they created a ten-song album that was produced at Melody Hill Studio outside Louisville, Kentucky. Due to cost constraints, the album, Black Hollow Road, was released on a local level in cassette form only. It had moderate success, but with virtually no promotion, it did not gain widespread appeal. The album did gain some lofty attention for a short period. Jon won a Nashville song-writing contest where his prize was to record one of his songs in a Nashville studio. Linda accompanied him to Nashville where they recorded the original tune. While there, they were also asked to do some back-up vocals in the studio. Jon kept the original digital tracks of Black Hollow Road, and we have decided to re-introduce it in CD form. We hope you enjoy this mix of original ballads and novelty songs.
2009 RV-Dreams Photo Calendar - SOLD OUT!At the end of each year, we take some of our best photos from our travels that year and create a photo calendar for the following year. We try to have a combination of wildlife, landscapes, sunrises, and sunsets. It's a difficult process narrowing down over 5,000 photos into thirteen for a calendar. We hope you enjoy our selections and think about the wonderful scenes we RVers get to experience in our nomadic lifestyle.
